Workshops on Building Stronger, Safer, Healthier Relationships

This workshop is designed to empower individuals, couples, and families with the tools to create safe, respectful, and lasting connections. Ideal for Men's & Women's Retreats, Couples Ministries, church groups, and community organizations. Learn how to:

  • Strengthen Families
  • Explore healthy conflict resolution strategies
  • Build trust and respect
  • Prevent the cycles of violence
  • Build stronger communities

  • Recognize early signs of unhealthy relationships

Workshops on Mass Violence and Workplace Safety

This workshop raises awareness about how interpersonal abuse can escalate into broader patterns of mass violence, shootings, and community harm-and how preventive efforts can save lives both at home and in society. 

Research shows a strong overlap between histories of domestic violence and perpetrators of mass violence. 

Learn about:

  • How patterns of control, entitlement, and unchecked abuse often escalate outward.
  • Warning signs and risk factors.
  • Past abuse as an indicator of future violence.
  • How trauma has a ripple effect at home, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
  • Solutions, intervention strategies, and your role in disrupting violence.

"Faith over Fear"

This workshop equips faith leaders, parishioners, and worship communities to respond safely and biblically to interpersonal violence.  Learn how to:

  • Recognize the signs of domestic abuse.
  • Identify 7 types of abuse.
  • Identify Myths vs. truths.
  • Identify the trauma in children.
  • Implement strategies to support survivors with compassion and practical resources.
  • Create church policies for safe reporting.
  • Identify red flags.

Build a worship culture where faith over fear guides action.

Connie Wade

MSW/QMHP-A CEO/PRESENTER

Connie Wade, a native of Suffolk, VA, is a passionate advocate, motivational speaker, and workshop facilitator dedicated to empowering places of worship, communities, businesses, and organizations to address violence, promote healthy relationships, and create safe spaces.  A two-time graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Connie earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work.  Drawing from her decades of experience with counseling court-mandated men and women with histories of interpersonal violence, Connie inspires audiences to move from silence to action.
